Should your finger nail polish match your toe nail polish?

I am trying to find this season's trend.Should your finger nail polish match your toe nail polish?
I guess it kind of depends on the situation. If you are going to something even a little formal, you want matching (and probably nude shades.)


For day-to-day, it doesn't matter. I find it fun to kind of complement colors. Using the same color, but a darker shade on my toes for example.Should your finger nail polish match your toe nail polish?
i think the fact that someone called brittany described it as 'super cute' answers your question. its TOO co ordinated and fashion conscious. and also, its soooooo matchy matchy, its the nail version of a sweater set, or a denim jacket with jeans





go for complementing contrasting. ie red toes, natural pink toes. or hot pink fingers, light pink toes. you get the idea.





i generally go for bright toes, casual fingers or vice versa. if you have a french manicure, have a 'fun' colour on your toes so you don't look over the top and overly groomed.
I think it can go both ways, it depends on what your doing. I think its really fun and cute to mix it up. But if your going to an event wearing open toed shoes, please match it ..in a formal setting the mismatch will look tacky. but for the beach or shopping or just out it looks cute mismatched.
no! toes are an anything goes area- each toe can be different or have designs... fingernails have to be presentable in any situation you'll be in, say work church whatever is your norm, so if you have to have conservative hands, go wild on your toes
It's completely up to you. :) A lot of people think that it looks cute to have them match, but there's no fashion or beauty rule that says they need to.
it can go either way i match mine and sometimes i do my toes one color and nails different color
it shoudnt be totally opposite! (Like a dark colour and than bright colour!?) manicures are perfect!
